TYPICAL DISHES
The cuisine of Guaca is diverse and varied in its flavors, A seductive and forbidden
mixture of indigenous flavors, it is noteworthy that one of the products most used by
the cuisine of the municipality is the cob and corn.
The Mute of cob
It is a soup of beef and cob as its main ingredients very characteristic
of the municipality of Guaca. Being this one of the most traditional.

The ayaco
It is made with and is stuffed with pork, beef or chicken.

Corn Clam
Made with curd and yellow cornmeal with spongy texture.
We can find them in the different bakeries of the municipality. As they are :( The spike, sweet bread
of Jesus...)
Leaf Cheese
Traditionally made with just ground curd and salt.
We can find it on weekends at the Don Hermes bakery.
The chicha
Made from fermented corn and panela honey to sweeten it.
We can find it on weekends at the Don Hermes bakery.
Corn Butter
Made with butter, cornmeal and yeast among others
We can buy them at the Guaca restaurant whereabouts.
Peeled Corn Arepa
It is made with yellow corn, which has previously been peeled
through traditional methods
